Another painting of a living room, I'm really getting into interior decoration! 

Fantasy living room

 

I saw this on the Elle Decor website and instantly fell in love with the leopard print chairs on both sides of the coffee table. Painting the leopard spots was probably the most fun part of the entire painting. (hence the name of the blog which I just came up with 10 minutes ago)

I love dreaming about the imaginary rooms that I'm going to live in when I move out of home. 

So far, I'm thinking of having a living room covered with fake lawn, a kitchen with absolute chalk board walls, and a bathroom with 4 or 5 different sized bronze bathtubs (for pets).

I've only recently started painting in watercolour. Previously, my medium was the all mighty felt tip pen. 

I'm really enjoying the ability to be able to paint over mistakes. 

The artist who inspired me to rush out and buy new paintbrushes and paints is the beautiful Caitlin McGauley. I like art with a fashion edge. I am attracted to the delicacy and gentleness of her paintings.
